Baba is all about friendship, family and a shared love for vintage-inspired prints and textiles. The word “Baba” is a term of endearment, it can also mean “Teacher”.

As mothers, we try to teach our little ones the importance of karma, respect for nature and our environment, even down to the way our clothes are made.

So our first instinct was to design a range of dresses that were  made ethically looked timeless and could be handed down from cousin to sibling to friend.

Inspired by the colours and textures of nature and the great outdoors, our silhouettes are playful, whimsical and above all super-comfortable to wear.

Drawing from Camilla’s childhood memories of trips to India, the vibrant colours and boldly patterned textiles, we both fell in love with the imperfections and irregularities that arise from layered hand block printing and the traditional use of natural dyes.

Using methods perfected through generations of artisans, our small thoughtful collections are created lovingly in a Fair Trade factory outside the pink city of Jaipur, India.

We hope you and your little ones will wear and enjoy them with the same love with which they were made.
